What is the course about?
You will begin each session joining the beginner students, giving you the opportunity to practise together focusing on previously learnt signs. You will have the opportunity to evaluate correct handshapes and none manual features used to modify signs.
The rest of the session will allow you to work on your own signing technique and building your vocabulary along with taking part in conversational topics and learning about grammatical structure.
Topics covered may include; Buildings, Transport, Feelings, Food & Drink, Hobbies, Clothing.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course is suitable for Improver students who have completed the previous beginners Sign Languages course and would like to add to their vocabulary and advance their skills.
What do I need to bring with me?
You may wish to have a pen and note book, plus any previous vocabulary handouts to given throughout the previous course/session.
Are there any additional costs?
