What is the course about?
This 5 week Pilates – Beginners exercise course is being offered FREE*. The course is aimed at improving your health and wellbeing and will provide you with the opportunity to learn and improve skills such as: body muscle strength; flexibility; controlled breathing; balance, and co-ordination.
Typical activities for this course will cover a range of Pilates techniques to tone and strength all the main groups of muscles, with particular focus on the abdominals and back, whilst improving posture, joint mobility and balance.

What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
There is no experience or prior knowledge needed for this Pilates course because it is an introductory course. The course is aimed at students who are looking to develop or improve a healthy lifestyle, through physical activity and health awareness.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please ensure that you have enough space around you to exercise safely, an exercise mat, wear appropriate clothing for exercise and ensure that you have a drink of water near you for the duration of the session.
