What is the course about?

A basic guide to drawing practices, that will empower the learner to use a range of observational approaches and materials to create strong and decisive images, in and beyond the class

Tones, scale, proportion, edges, measuring, shapes, spaces, prescriptive and imaginative tasks, sequential development, and confidence building outcomes.

What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?

No previous drawing skill or knowledge required, though some basic drawing abilities would be an advantage.

What do I need to bring with me?

Sketchbooks and drawing equipment: pencils, rubber, drawing pad and charcoal.

Are there any additional costs?

There is a very small additional cost for some occasional basic materials.
