What is the course about?
This is a Learning for Work course. The course aims to increase the power and fluency of your writing and to sustain a long writing project. It aims to enable you to become a good critic of your own work and that of others as well as to read with increased understanding. Your tutor will help you set personal goals for you to aim for and provide regular feedback on how you are doing. All lessons will have learning aims which the tutor will share with you and they will track how you are progressing throughout the course and keep you informed. This course is designed to improve and sustain your language skills keeping your mind active and alert.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This is an established course which is open to all aspiring writers, from absolute beginners to experienced fiction-writers. Basic English literacy will be expected, but learners developing their skills are also welcome.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to bring a pen and paper to this session. At the first session your tutor will discuss with you the purchase of a suitable dictionary and textbook to support your studies.
