This is a Learning for Personal Interest course.
This course will aim to explore, develop and invigorate your portrait drawing using a variety of innovative approaches and use of drawing materials.
We will utilise a combination of resources, such as; your student colleagues, yourselves (via a mirror) and photographs, in tandem with how other artists have approached depicting the portrait through history. We will be exploring and applying different ways to achieve an accurate sense of the head, away from just outlines and edges to enable your drawings to become more expressive and imaginatively inspired.
