Full level 2 + 3 entitlement

If you are aged 19-23 and looking to study for your first full level 2 or 3 qualification, you may qualify for free tuition.

Some students who do not have their full level 2 qualification may be entitled to free tuition at entry level or level 1 if they require this to progress on to their level 2 qualification.

To qualify, students will need to be:

  • Aged 19-23 years of age at the start of the course
  • Be studying for a first full level 2 or equivalent (eg 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C or an NVQ/Certificate/Diploma Level 2) or
  • Be studying for a first full level 3 or equivalent (eg 3 A levels or an NVQ/Diploma level 3)
  • Meet the government residency criteria

Residency criteria includes:

  • Be born in the UK,
  • Have UK citizenship of a UK passport, or
  • Have indefinite leave to remain or
  • Have refugee status or
  • Further criteria may apply on application

Additional costs for these courses will not be covered and students will need to pay for extra course materials.
