Personal development and leisure courses

Direct debit and instalment options are available to all students to help break down the payment costs of their course.

In addition, concessionary rates are available to students dependent on their circumstances.

Students on a means tested benefit will be entitled to a 70% discount on tuition fees on production of proof of entitlement. Means tested benefits are:

  • Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Employment and Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group)
  • Universal Credit
  • Council Tax Benefit/Housing Benefit
  • Pension Guarantee Credit
  • Income Support 
  • Working Tax Credit (if household income on the award is below £20,000)

Students aged 65 and not on one of the benefits above will be entitled to a 10% discount on tuition fees

Students not on a benefit but on a household income of £20,000 or under may be entitled to apply to the Priority Community Fund for help towards the cost of their tuition fess. In certain circumstances, contributions to additional course expenses may also be available. Full details of this fund are available on request when you enrol.
