What is the course about?

The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed hairdresser/stylist. This qualification is based on the hairdressing National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK's leading professional body (The Hairdressing Council) as being fit for purpose for preparing learners for a career as a junior hairdresser/stylist.

Entry on to the course is following a successful skills test and interview.

What do I need to bring with me?

Pens and paper, a lever arch file with dividers and plastic wallets

Are there any additional costs?

A kit is part of the costs of the course but cotton wool tissues and other disposables will be needed for each session. It is the student’s responsibility to replenish the kit when products have run out. A college uniform is needed for this course and information on this will be given at the interview.
