If you are aged 19-23 and looking to study for your first full level 2 qualification, you may qualify for free tuition.
Some students who do not have their full level 2 qualification may be entitled to free tuition at entry level or level 1 if they require this to progress on to their level 2 qualification.
To qualify, students will need to be:
- Aged 19-23 years of age at the start of the course
- Be studying for a first full level 2 or equivalent (eg 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C or an NVQ/Certificate/Diploma Level 2) or
- Meet the government residency criteria
If you are aged 24+ but unemployed you may also be entitled to free tuition at entry level or level 1 if they require this to progress on to their level 2 qualification.
To qualify, students will need to be:
- Aged 24+ years of age at the start of the course and unemployed
- Be studying for a first full level 2 or equivalent (eg 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C or an NVQ/Certificate/Diploma Level 2) or
- Meet the government residency criteria
Residency criteria for all students includes:
- Be born in the UK,
- Have UK citizenship of a UK passport, or
- Have indefinite leave to remain or
- Have refugee status or
- Further criteria may apply on application
