What is the course about?

Following this, your course will be set up and your Assessor will contact you to advise on how to access your course. Level 2 Certificate in preparing to Work in Adult Social Care - This qualification provides an ideal taster for those who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work. It is ideal if you would like to understand more about working in health and social care. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector. The qualification covers the areas of communication, equality, diversity and inclusion, personal development, role of the social care worker, handling information, health and safety, safeguarding, duty of care and person-centred approaches. Who is it suitable for? - Anyone working towards a career in adult health and social care in a supervised job role.

None. You will need to be able to read the course content and reply to questions on a computer or other device.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will work on the course independently, with the support of an Assessor. You need access to a computer or other device.

No. The course is fully funded if you are 19+ and have lived in the UK/EU for 3 years.
