What is the course about?
The course will prepare students for the AQA New GCSE Mathematics exams at Foundation Level to be held in summer 2023. It is suitable for students aiming to achieve up to Grade 5
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
All students must attend for an assessment and interview to determine suitability for the course. Successful GCSE applicants will be offered a place on a preparation course ahead of the GCSE course starting in September. If the GCSE is not currently the right option for a student they may be offered a place on a Functional Skills Maths course.
What do I need to bring with me?
Initially students will need a folder with paper, pen, pencil, ruler and scientific calculator. For later sessions graph paper and a geometry set are required
