What is the course about?
Begin the process of studying and practising the Cheng Man Ching form, warm up, mobility and balance exercises, principles of posture, movement and breathing, the background history and philosophy of Tai Chi, Chi Kung exercises.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course is designed for those looking to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle through physical activity. It is for both complete beginners and those with some experience. This type of exercise is ideal for participants of all ages. It is also suitable for those with an existing disability and/or in rehabilitation.
What do I need to bring with me?
For this course, you will need; clothing appropriate for exercise and a bottle of water. We recommend that you should always seek the advice of a GP before taking up physical activity or vigorous exercise. Should you feel it necessary to share relevant details of your medical history with your tutor, please ask them for a health check form and complete it as soon as possible. This form will not be copied, or the information on it, be transferred to any other document and will be shredded at the end of the course.
