What is the course about?

This course will explore poetry, nature and art. During the course you will gain in self-confidence, social skills, reading and
numbers.

What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?

It is an Entry Level class for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring: Pen, pencil, paper, folder, gluestick, hand
gel, plastic pencil case, crayons, felt-tips
COVID-19 You may wear a mask if you wish to. Your tutor will have hand
sanitiser and wipes for you to use

Level 2 Certificate in Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care - What does this qualification cover? This qualification aims to help learners develop: • a general understanding of different types of medication and their use • knowledge of the procedures for obtaining, storing, administering and disposing of medication • an understanding of legislation and the audit process related to medication and issues of responsibility and accountability • an understanding of the record-keeping process for medication. This is a knowledge-based qualification; achievement will not allow learners to be considered occupationally competent in the administration of medication.
