What is the course about?
In the instance of a Government imposed lockdown if this course cannot be moved to online it will be paused until it is able to begin again. No refunds will be made due to a Government imposed lockdown.
This course will help you take your cakes to the next level. You will learn, practice and develop your cake decorating skills. We will practise making some cute models from modelling paste to include animals & simple people. You will also develop your royal icing skills practising with different nozzles, lettering and using a brush embroidery technique for a flower design.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course will be suitable for those with some experience in cake decorating or for those with an interest in learning new techniques. No qualifications are necessary.
What do I need to bring with me?
250g pack of Modelling paste (from tesco or sainsbury’s) 1/3rd of the pack coloured pale brown (with paste food colour not liquid colour)
Small Palette knife
Small board & box to take work home in
Small paintbrush, small container with water in
Any modelling tools you may have
A board to work on or covering for the table
Cloth or wipes to clean surface
NOTE: Items available from sugarcraft stores/supermarket/Lakeland or the internet.
