What is the course about?
This course is to improve your skills for work and everyday life in line with the Reformed Functional Maths curriculum, and to work towards a qualification when appropriate. This course is suitable for students working towards Entry Level 3 and Level 1.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
The course is for anyone who wishes or needs to improve their everyday Maths skills whilst working towards a Functional Skills qualification.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need a folder to keep your work in and a pen, a pencil, a ruler, some paper and a simple calculator.
Are there any additional costs?
A simple calculator (not necessarily a scientific version) and a protractor is also needed for parts of the course.
What can I do next?
