This Learning for Health and Wellbeing course is an introduction for anyone who has an interest in exploring the relationship between food and mood.
This course will start to explore the relationship between food and mood. It will enable you to begin to evaluate how your current food and drink choices can affect your moods and how your moods can influence what you choose to eat and drink too.
The course will cover:
• The mood-altering effects of some foods and drinks
• The role of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) on our mental health
• How to identify and introduce dietary changes to support positive mental health
• Practical and achievable ways to put the theory into practice with food choices, meal ideas and recipes to support mental health and wellbeing
The course will be taught online by a qualified Nutritional Therapist who works in the nutrition education sector and is registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
