A message from our CEO – 5th August 2020

Dear students

We hope this message finds you safe and well.

We are pleased to be launching the first part of our Autumn programme today. Our staff have been working hard in the last few months to extend the courses that we have available online and to prepare our centres for a small number of face to face classroom based courses that will start this September.

Today you will find a variety of new online courses live on our website. You can book on these courses by enrolling online or by calling 0345 601 0161. This programme includes languages, fitness and art classes.

We are also carrying out assessments for our qualification courses. If you are interested in any of these courses please contact [email protected] to book an assessment or take a look at our brochure for more information:

  • All levels of English for Speakers of Other Languages
  • Functional Skills English and Maths
  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Level 2 and 3 Counselling
  • Level 2 Hairdressing
  • Level 2 Barbering
  • Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy
  • Level 2 Nail Technology
  • Level 2 Working with People with Mental Health Needs

Some of these courses will be available online all year and others will start face to face in one of our centres. Please enquire for details.

We also have a range of distance learning courses that are free this August for West Sussex Residents. Distance Learning courses can be studied at your own pace, with support from a tutor by phone.

We will be adding more online courses to our programme so please keep visiting our website and following us on social media on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We also have a monthly Learner Bulletin you can sign up to, to keep up to date.

After October half term we will be extending our face to face programme and this will be announced later this month.

If you are returning to face to face learning with Aspire Sussex please read our Student Guidance to find out what to expect. We are following government and Health and safety guidelines so the detail of how you can help us and keep yourself safe will be there.

If you are joining an online course, take a look at our guidance notes about joining an online course. We will also be running some free online taster courses this August to enable you to feel confident about joining us online ahead of the start of your course. If you would like to know more about these courses please email [email protected].

When booking, please look at the location of the course to find out if it is online or in a venue, all face to face courses will state the venue and online courses will be marked as online.

We look forward to welcoming you to our centres or to Aspire Cloud this September
