Let’s Get Digital

If you want to find great apps and tools to help you get fit or manage your weight, the internet’s a great place to start! Why not come along to a local event to get a helping hand getting started? We will be hosting some free drop-in digital health events across the South coast.

Aspire Sussex is one of over 100 registered UK online centres nationwide delivering a range of initiatives to support you to improve your skills so they can find health information online.

If you have a spare hour, our experienced team will be on hand to show you how getting online could help improve your digital skills. Whether you want to get fit, manage an existing condition or order a repeat prescription, you could be doing it all, and more, online.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even touched a computer before or if you already know a bit about computers. This is your chance to give computers and the internet a go. It’s fun, free and could change how you manage your health forever.

More One-Day Workshops at Burgess Hill

Coming soon (8th November), we will be running a number of one-day workshops at Marle Place in Burgess Hill.

Celebrating Beauty in Beautiful Burgess Hill

Aspire Sussex‘s hairdressing, health and beauty students have been recognised for their achievements at an awards event in Burgess Hill.

The annual event was organised by Aspire Sussex to celebrate the achievements of the Health and Beauty department at Marle Place Adult Education Centre in Burgess Hill.

More than 35 students attended the event and local salon and business owners were also invited, providing a fantastic networking opportunity with tutors and students to give practical advice and feedback.

Aspire Sussex‘s Head of Operations, Judith McManus said: “Our students work extremely hard on these courses and this event is a brilliant opportunity to congratulate them on their achievements over the year.”

“We are very proud of the number of students who go on to get jobs within salons and spas or set up their own business. The quality of teaching is highly regarded by local employers and as usual our team are looking forward to welcoming new students on courses starting in September.”

  • Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Student of the Year – Lisette Richards
  • Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Achiever of the Year – Ursula Yost
  • Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Achiever of the Year – Hayley Jones
