What is the course about?
This Learning for Personal Interest course will enable you to develop basic communication skills in practical situations.
The emphasis of this course will be on speaking and listening developed through a range of everyday topics presented in a variety of written and audio-visual formats (i.e.short texts, interactive exercises, videos, etc.).
Topics could include: introducing yourself and other people, giving personal information, ordering food and drink, shopping and asking for/giving directions.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This is course is designed for beginners who may have a little knowledge of the language from their school days, or may have taken a course in the past.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring along a pen and some paper. We recommend having a folder or ring binder for the course.
