What is the course about?
In the instance of a Government imposed lockdown if this course cannot be moved to online it will be paused until it is able to begin again. No refunds will be made due to a Government imposed lockdown.
This in introductory Learning for Health and Wellbeing course develops good core and shoulder strength to make daily tasks easier. Starting on a chair, students can progress to working with a chair as an exercise aid, as needed.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This is a beginners’ level course designed for students who need support from a chair to enable them to exercise more freely. It is also for learners who would like some extra support to become physically active or maintain their current health state.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need appropriate clothing for exercise, a towel and a bottle of water. We recommend that you should always seek the advice of a GP before taking up physical activity or vigorous exercise. Should you feel it necessary to share relevant details of your medical history with your tutor, please ask them for a health check form.

There are no additional costs.
What can I do next?
There will be an opportunity to move onto Chair Pilates 2 at the end of this course.
