What is the course about?
The aim of this course is to increase learners’ awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects.
Learners' will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support progression onto other appropriate qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care sector. It could be useful to learners working in education settings, healthcare, social care, childcare or supporting learning.
You will learn -
- To be able to identify behaviour that challenges
- To be able to identify how to support behaviour that challenges
- To be able to develop the necessary skills to manage challenging behaviour and to support positive behaviour.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This is an introductory course and no prior experience or knowledge is needed.

You will need to bring paper and a pen.
