What is the course about?

This course is a Learning for Work Course and will provide you with the opportunity to learn skills such as:
Basic formatting in a spreadsheet with confidence and competence
Use formulas for adding and subtracting
Use formulas for multiplication and division
Use charts and graphs
Typical activities for this course:
Create a financial model in excel
Use formulas to add, subtract and multiply data
Create charts from the financial model
Create folders and Subfolders
Place spreadsheets in subfolders
Discuss competencies in expressions of interest and/ or application letters
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
You should be comfortable using a keyboard, mouse and using at least one application and have some experience using a desktop computer or laptop. As this is an Entry Level three qualification you will need a good This course is for a person who has attended the Microsoft Excel Beginners Course or who is confident with the skills from the excel beginners’ course.
