Enrolments for this course will start in August 2022. Please phone us on 0345 601 0161 or email [email protected] to register your interest.
We will be offering 2 courses, one starting in September and the other in March 2023. Students will have 24 weeks to complete the course. All work will be submitted and assessed online and you will have the support of your Tutor/Assessor throughout. We will be offering an online classroom on alternate Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm, for input, support and skills practice. Assessment of counselling skills forms part of the evidence required to pass the course.
This is a fully funded course for students who are on a means tested benefit or earn under £18,525 per year.
We will process your enrolment and contact you to arrange an assessment and to determine if we need to see evidence of your benefits or pay. This is for funding purposes. Following this, your course will be set up and your Assessor will contact you to advise on how to access your course.
This qualification is ideal for those seeking to enhance their functional role through the use of counselling skills. Learners will gain an understanding of a range of counselling skills and have the opportunity to examine some of the various schools of thought/theoretical models associated with them.
We also include some online skills sessions with other students as part of this qualification.
This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.
