What is the course about?

The aim of this course is to develop the learners' knowledge and understanding of the key principles of information, advice and guidance (IAG) and be able to apply these within their own context/organisation/workplace.

You will learn -
1. - To be able to identify the types of IAG provision and how to put it into practice
2. - To be able to develop the necessary interaction skills to enable IAG delivery with clients
3. - To be able to identify effective signposting, referral and managing of information related to IAG .

What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?

This is an introductory course and no prior experience or knowledge is needed.

You will need to bring paper and a pen.
